Let me give you a tip. You can tell the personality of the bride by her wedding shoes. Believe it? But of course, you must be able to tell the different shades of pink and red before you can conclude on how this wedding is going. Nisi wore black shoes with her white gown. Plain velvety black court shoes. Go figure.

Mark works in a post production house himself. In fact, rumour has it that he owns it. On the other side, Nisi is THE events manager whom we have worked with on Xbox corporate videos. When we got down to choosing the song, it was a challenging piece to edit to. The team had to sit through a few rounds of listening to the music, talking about the edit and listening to the music again and again before we finally fell in love with it and could visualise a picture from it. I think it’s one of those inspiring highlights that is at once, casual and yet insightful. I’m biased.

There’s always a story, a behind the scenes sort of story, as to how a wedding day went. I love the adrenaline rush and looking through raw footages. Yes, it’s quite crazy but we do that in our studio- look through raw footages; we enjoy every part of the speech, the preparation of the games. It’s like watching a football match only we know how the training actually went. And these footages tell the full story of what went on from morning to dinner and finally, as a presentation to the guests during dinner. Here’s Paul & Mel’s:

Wen Cheng was a surprise on the wedding day because he cuts a quiet demeanour when we first met him. He gamely went through all the obstacle course set out by Madelin’s bridesmaid; witha smiles & laughter. And this includes a tough, mind boggling IQ set of questions. It comes as no surprise actually since Madelin is a teacher. We really wish them years of martial bliss & lots of laughter & joy in their life ahead. Photography by Mervin & Videography by Sam

It’s our annual year end Xmas dinner & Zen just turned 10 years old on Monday too. (Juz kidding!) Firstly, must apologize that there’s no food shots. Too hungry and guys being guys..just started to gobble the food up. Finally when the camera came out, it was only when they were filled and their hands were free from holding their chopsticks. The food was great anyhow. The company of friends, even better which is why you will see that.. some of us do look younger than our real age… Sam’s smile, Zen’s cool, Eddy with his laughter. Zhihua with his posey finger. Ian and his BB (Eddy eyeing it).

Dan & Karen @ St Francis Xavier Church & Merchant Court Hotel

Karen & Dan met at school during a swim team orientation and it took some turns before love blossomed between them. It’s a wonderful thing to fall in love with your best friend. And looking at them on their wedding day, reciting their vows to each other & Dan singing their song in Mandarin (no less!), feels like they have come full circle. We are very happy to be part of their wedding day and definitely elated to know that our highlight & wedding movie captured the meaningful moments. In fact, we are still learning more about Karen & Dan even after the wedding on their personal blog at http://likearose.weddingannouncer.com.

Harvey took some time to pick his church. I heard from his buddy that he wanted to get one with a cross as a back drop while the service is ongoing. So, he finally decided on Grace Methodist Church. By God’s grace, the day was wonderful. Full blast of sunshine streaming in through the cross. And honestly, by Singapore’s weather context, it’s often cloudier than sunnier. Hence, it must be his day. In such a setting, you would expect Harvey to be solemn or like what he described Jaslyn ( no nonsense girl), but no. He had to march in and make it look like the Raffles Place flash mob dance item. Yes he did. And what a show it was! Am sure he can’t wait to collect his Wedding DVDs. He just called me to check. Haha..
